The founder, head instructor and General Secretary of the
B.T.A.
is Master Chris Davies 6th Dan (Kukkiwon certified). It was
because he felt that Taekwondo for those who simply enjoyed
training was being eroded and because of the way in which politics and
money was controlling the direction of many Taekwondo instructors, that
he decided it was time for something different and to take control of
his own direction.

BTA clubs have also
been working closely with Master Ki Young Suh 7th Dan, who is former
Korean National Team, Pan American Olympic coach and trainer to the Paraguayan Presidential
Guard.
